Beasts Academy

The Beasts Academy is an athlete-focused training program that begins at the beginning of November 2nd, 2025 and ends March 29th 2026.

In addition to these time slots, athletes will be given weight training, plyometric training and arm care exercise programs to follow either at home or at the SSTS gym located at Le Sandlot (SSTS Membership is included as part of the Beasts Academy Tuition). These programs form an integral part of the program and each athlete is expected to do these exercises outside of the scheduled training sessions.

Due to the limited size of the groups and in order to ensure efficient, athlete-focused training, we will select athletes who are serious about improving their game and are eager to work hard and remain focused during the sessions. Our selection process for the program is based upon an athlete's work ethic, maturity, physical condition and coachability. For this reason, athletes may be asked to come in for an evaluation session with our coaches.

 

Curriculum

The Beasts Academy was created to help baseball players playing for LS BEASTS Travel Ball teams or looking to play in the AA or AAA levels reach their full potential as student-athletes. Priority registration is given to current Beasts players, followed by players who were members of the Beasts Academy or Beasts Prospects program last year.

Members of the Beasts Academy will benefit from an exclusive elite training program designed by Yannick « Bergy » Bergeron using proven training methods and data driven approach to player development.

The Academy will feature top-level coaching specialists working with small groups of athletes (Maximum 5 athletes per coach) in Le Sandlot’s state-of-the-art training facility for 3.5 hours per week (one weeknight session (Tuesday or Thursday) and one Sunday session. Athletes will also be assigned at-home exercises to help athletes develop their mobility, flexibility, strength, speed and agility.

Tuition: $1, 800 + tx

single payment at time of enrollment OR $475/mo +txs payable in 4 equal installments (November, 1, December 1, January 1 and February 1).

(Timeslots will be allocated to groups based on age of athletes, with youngest groups being earlier time slots)
